Calvados Pays d'Auge Vintage 1989
70cl - 42% Vol
Amber color. Rich, generous, highly complex nose with baked apple, brown butter and toasty notes. Cooked almond develops with the second nose. Entry offers exceptional volume that is both opulent, rich and dense. Very long on the palate.
" Beautiful dress with light fawn shades and topaz reflections, beautiful brilliance. Pleasant nose, fruity, cooked apple, almond, toasted, smoky. Palate: nice volume, fairly powerful tannins, fairly long finish. Food and wine pairing: tarte tatin, or with a cigar, the Hoyo du Prince. Eau de vie bottled in 2008 and aged in sherry barrels ".
