Hampden Angels - Eau de vie de cidre

HampdenAngels is a 14 year old Calvados Pays d'Auge that we spent 8 months in 4 old American oak barrels of the famous Jamaican rum Hampden. This Calvados Pays d'Auge had to be requalified as Eau de Vide de Cidre because the specifications
of the appellation Calvados Pays d'Auge do not allow the use of American oak.

Bottled at 44%.vol, rich in esters, the nose is particularly complex,
both straight and exotic with notes of ripe banana, coffee, cocoa, vanilla and baked apple. The palate is impressively powerful, with good acidity and great length. Roasted notes open up on the finish.
