Calvados Pays d'Auge Vintage 1999

Double distillation in a copper pot still. Aged in old calvados casks and former sherry casks.

Amber color. A rich nose with silky cooked apple and cider flavors. Hints of almonds.

The mouth is fresh with a great balance, delicate a round finish. One can feel the print of the Port cask on a finish of candied rancio.
