Calvados Pays d'Auge distilled in 1970 and aged to this day in oak barrels. It has been aged for approximately two years in barrels that previously contained Port and one year in barrels that previously contained Sherry.

Golden color; on the nose it reveals pastry aromas; on the palate it is smooth, supple and silky.

Comments from Alain Segelle (CIDD Wine Training):
“Dress of a very beautiful gold-bronze shade with a fine amber tint.
Warm shimmering gold-moss green reflections.
Very pleasant nose combining vigor and subtle aromas of both fruit and spices.
Lovely aromas of pulpy fruitiness on a background of biscuits and dried almonds, then amber and leather in a sumptuous bouquet emerging after selective oxygenation in a beautiful straight glass, preferred to the more ethereal rounded one.
Mouth with a semi-fine, semi-bitter attack.
Very fine flavors combining warmth and liveliness with a lovely spread in the mouth, smoothness and elegance, developing a delicious fragrance/reminiscence in retro-olfaction. Very fine CALVADOS of remarkable purity.
Serve at 13-14°C.
