Calvados Pays d'Auge Vintage 1973

Calvados Pays d'Auge distilled in 1973 and kept to this day in oak barrels that have contained only Calvados and are regularly regenerated with cider.

"A magnificent balance between fruit and wood. The woodiness, fine and light, lets the apple express itself: a very Pays d'Auge Calvados with aromas of vanilla-flavored cooked apples and a touch of pepper. The attack is smooth, the mouth silky and enveloping. The maturity has not killed the freshness. A true joy!"
